The Strand Hotel - Bournemouth

The breakfast was great and the location was magnificent!

Appreciated this low budget hotel, recommend. Everything was good, met needs, and the staff were exceptional people on behalf of my member of staff who stayed here. Besides, the location was fab for my stay, within 15 minutes' walk of Shelley Park. What's more, it was short walk to local shops and the beach.

I had tidy room with an electric kettle, central heating and television.

Stayed one night n it was realy nice. The room was super comfy n clean. They even had bathroom slippers which was a cool touch. Just a 5 min walk to the beach n great places to eat. The staff was so friendly too.

Only thing was that it could use a little updating. Parking was kinda tricky.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The staff were cute and ensured all my needs were met. The breakfast spread was great, with a wide variety of cereals and a delicious hot meal cooked to perfection. Be sure to indulge in the fresh toast options!

Just an appropriate option for a short break in Bournemouth with definitely value for money. The shower was lovely and hot with powerful flow. Bring your own extra toilet paper if you're in a shared bathroom.

The location was perfect for our family, just a short walk to the beach and the vibrant nearby restaurants. We appreciated the comfortable triple room and the friendly staff were really nice.

For dads, it would be great to have more parking options.

The room I stayed in had a slanted ceiling, made moving around a bit of a hassle. I found myself ducking now and then, which can be a challenge for taller folks. The decor seemed to have seen better days, with signs of wear, especially around the bathroom. The absence of a cooked breakfast was a letdown since sites advertised otherwise, leaving a bit of a sour taste. While it didn't ruin my trip, a touch-up in maintenance would add some much-needed freshness to the experience.

The king-size bed provided luxury and comfort, complemented by a clean and peaceful room overlooking the garden. The breakfast was really good, with high-quality ingredients like delicious bacon and melt-in-the-mouth mushrooms. On a downside, the absence of a cooked breakfast option in the budget single room and the location on the top floor could be inconvenient for some. The manager's warm welcome and the meticulously maintained facilities were nice.
